My trip to Rio

This year I´d the chance to travel to Rio de Janeiro to the carnaval festival in February, with my best friend from school, Javiera and her boyfiend Francisco.  At first I thought that we woud stay in Rio for that week, but we didn´t. The family who accepted us in their house took us to Marica that week, waiting for the carnaval of Rio to end. At first I was sad because we were there with lots of expectations. But Santo´s family didn´t want us to stay in Rio that week because the knew that it is very dangerous, specially for tourists like us.

When the days passing we weren´t sad any more, because in stead of that we travelled to many parts that we didn´t think we would go. The first place was Ponta Nera, then we travelled to Saquarema. After that to Cabo Frio, the best beach ever. And before the end of the week finally we went to the carnavall and it was incredible. Then we arrived to Rio and visited all the tourist parts, but without the danger of the carnaval week.
